The Cultural Portal of the Aegean Archipelago is dedicated to the history and culture of the Aegean Archipelago from Prehistory until today. The portal includes texts that deal not only with individual islands, but also with broader issues concerning the history, culture and environment of the Aegean. The texts, organized as entries, are supported by various information units (bibliography, glossary, quotations from the sources etc), as well as by audiovisual multimedia applications.
